Kin Community Initiatives

Community is the first medicine.

Kin Community Initiatives offers free and low-cost workshops, training, and support circles for Black men, boys, families, and the broader community — because wellbeing isn't just about what happens in a doctor's office. It starts with people showing up for each other.

We're building something here. Come be part of it — in the DMV, Atlanta, and online.

Mental Health First Aid

Evidence-based, internationally certified training to recognize and respond to mental health crises.

Support Circles

Structured spaces for honest conversation, peer support, and shared healing.

Financial Wellness

Financial stress is a mental health issue. We treat it that way — with tools, not shame.

Holistic Health

Practices that treat the whole person — body, mind, and community.

Sankofa Summer Hours

Running while school is out — free for youth under 18

When school's out, kids shouldn't have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. Sankofa Summer Hours brings free meals and snacks to youth under 18, connects families to library resources, and brings Kin out into the community as a trusted partner. It's a chance to meet us, get connected, and let us show up for your family.

All programs are free or low-cost because economic barriers shouldn't stand between anyone and support. Your gift makes that possible.
